COACH AGEDAH LAUDS BOXING TEAM


Head Coach, Boxing in Bayelsa, Coach Tonye Agedah says he is proud of winning medals at the ongoing Niger Delta Games in Edo state.

Boxing event garnered one gold, one silver and two bronze medals.

Speaking shortly after the medal presentations at the main bowl of the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium, the elated coach Agedah praised his boxers for not letting him down, and upgrading the medals they won last year in Uyo at the maiden edition of the games.
Coach Tonye Agedah added that his team of boxers will continue to work harder to win more laurels, even as he stressed that his vision is to produce a heavyweight champion in the near future.

Inemo Selemoboere clinched gold in the 65kg, her first gold in any event, Joseph Blessed Eluan got silver in the 60kg, Victor Sarah won bronze in the 51kg class, while Joseph Kemepadei also won bronze in the 70kg class.
