2nd Niger Delta Games, Edo 2026: Team Bayelsa Clinch 1 Gold, 1 Silver Medal in Swimming

Agnes John beat other contenders to earn gold medal for Team Bayelsa in the girls 100meters backstroke swimming event.

Shortly after her victory from the Swimming pool at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, Agnes expressed delight over her achievement.

She said her target was to grow stronger and become more successful in the sport at national and global levels.


Also Team Bayelsa took silver medal as Goodluck Edwin came second in the  boys 100m  freestyle event.
