Sangana Kingdom Federated Communities Day Gets Underway in Sangana

‎All is now set for the 2025/2026 Sangana Kingdom Federated Communities Day celebration in Brass Local Government Area of Bayelsa State as part of activities to mark Christmas and the New Year. 
‎This is contained in a statement signed by the chairman of the planning committee, Barr Uroh Omiekumo Kiani, ahead of the event in Sangana Kingdom.
‎The statement notes that day one, Saturday 27, December, 2025
‎will be for arrival of dignitaries for the event while Sunday 28, December which is the opening ceremony will see the third place match as well as the grand finale of the Sangana Kingdom Federated Communities Football Tournament at the Community Secondary School, Sangana by 2.00pm. 
‎According to Kiani, Sangana Kingdom Federated Communities walk will come up on Monday, December 29, 2025 at 7.00am in Sangana while raffle draw will follow at 9.00am at the Sangana Multipurpose Pavilion, after which there will be other activities of day three of the event. 
Barr Kiani notes that the marathon race for both male and female, alongside the beach party will form part of the events for day four while day five will witness beautiful display of the cultural heritage of the people of Sangana Kingdom. 
‎The statement further stated that the week-long activities will climax with an interdenominational thanksgiving service on January 1, 2026 at the Sangana Multipurpose Pavilion by 2.00pm with notable personalities expected to grace the event. 
‎He hinted that the Speaker of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abraham Ingobere; Commissioner for Investment, Dr. Ebieri Jones; the Brass Local Government Area chairman, Hon. Lucky Febo, Rural Development Chairman alongside Ambassador Miebi Ogunu Samson, President of Independent Grassroots Sports Development Association, are among dignitaries that will attend the event.
