‎After back-to-back victories to start the new Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season, Bayelsa United will travel to the Bako Kontagora Stadium, Minna, where they face Niger Tornadoes in a tough Matchday-three clash.
‎The Prosperity Boys, led by head coach Monday Odigie, will be aiming to extend their perfect start of the campaign and prove that their early-season form is no fluke having recorded a hard-fought on the road in the opening day against Shooting Stars FC before brushing aside Barau FC in Yenagoa.
‎The Prosperity Boys have now shift attention to claiming another crucial result on the road against the Minna based side, Niger Tornadoes having lost one nil to Enyimba last weekend.
‎The confidence in the camp is high after the team’s impressive performance, with new signings gradually settling into the squad and making their presence felt.
‎Skillful winger, Garba Shuaibu and Midfield Maestro Wisdom Magbisa, whose outstanding display led to a 2-0 win over Barau FC will once again be central to United’s attacking threat.
‎For Bayelsa United, this fixture represents more than just a chance to keep their 100% record intact—it is an opportunity to send a statement across the league that the Prosperity Boys serious contenders and not pretenders.
‎Niger Tornadoes, on the other hand are not  pushovers. Playing in front of their home fans at the Bako Kontagora Stadium Minna, Niger State. The Ikon Allah Boys will be desperate to bounce back from a difficult start to the season and would relish the chance to halt Bayelsa United’s impeccable start of the season.
‎It promises to be an exciting showdown in Minna, with both teams having plenty to fight for.
