BAYELSA SWAN FELICITATES WITH DEPUTY GOVERNOR ON HIS 60TH BIRTHDAY

The Bayelsa State Chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) has extended warm felicitations to the Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, on the occasion of his 60th birthday.

In a statement jointly signed by the Chairman, Mrs. Timinepre Ohia, and Secretary, Mr. Patrick Ndubuisi, the association wished the Deputy Governor good health, happiness, and many more years of fruitful service to the state and humanity.

The statement described Senator Ewhrudjakpo—fondly regarded as the Deputy Games Master General—as a man of many proverbs, a hardworking and visionary leader whose unwavering support for his principal, the governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri has positively impacted sports development in Bayelsa State.

Bayelsa SWAN commended the Deputy Governor for his continuous encouragement of sports growth as well as his consistent support to the association, noting that his contributions to Sports Writers in the state remain exemplary and unblemished.

The association expressed delight in celebrating with Senator Ewhrudjakpo on this milestone and prayed that God grants him more years in good health, prosperity, and dedicated service to Bayelsa State.
