The Yenagoa coordinator Bayelsa State Volunteer Security Hon Glad Bonsome has expressed gratitude to Hon. Oborku Oforji, Federal Law Maker representing Yenagoa, Kolokuma/Opokuma Federal constituency at the House of Representative for including him among the beneficiaries, as he received a mini bus. He acknowledged the significance of such support, especially during a period of economic hardship and rising costs of living. Hon. Glad used the opportunity to pledge his  continued support for the federal law maker,  recognizing his consistent efforts to deliver the dividends of democracy.

The Yenagoa coordinator Bayelsa Volunteer Security thanked him for his dedication to empowering his people, his unwavering commitment to improving the lives of his constituents through various empowerment initiatives that address key economic and social challenges.

Hon. Bonsome made these remarks following an empowerment program organized by Hon. Oforji on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. During the event, Hon. Oforji distributed mini buses, cars, fertilizers, electronic wheelchairs, and other valuable items to support members of his constituency. The initiative was aimed at fostering economic growth, strengthening food security by supporting farmers, and promoting inclusive leadership by assisting vulnerable individuals.

The Yenagoa coordinator Bayelsa State Volunteer Security  emphasized that the distribution of these items is a testament to Hon. Oforji’s selfless service and visionary leadership. Instead of making empty promises, he has taken concrete actions to address pressing community needs, uplift his constituents, and create meaningful change. His empowerment efforts highlight his dedication to improving both the economic well-being and overall quality of life of the people he represents.

The empowerment program featured a wide range of donations, includes Seventeen (17) Saloon Cars, Seventy Eight (78) Mini-Buses, Seven (7) Mini-Trucks, Twelve (12) Tricycles, Ten (10) Automatic Wheelchairs Remote Control, Two hundred (200) Sewing Machines, Three hundred and Fifty (350) Spray Cans, Eight hundred (800) Fertilizer bags and Cash gifts of Five Hundred Thousand Naira (500,000) each to One hundred and Fourteen (114) women.

These contributions reflect Hon. Oforji’s dedication to sustainable development and economic empowerment, ensuring that his constituents receive tangible benefits that enhance their livelihoods.
