Abia Orientation D.G Calls on Abians to Take Advantage of the Fair

The Acting Director-General of Abia State Orientation Agency, Ms. Ure Abazie, has called on Abians and those from neighboring states to take advantage of the ongoing Aba International Trade Fair at the Aba Mega Mall, Osisioma, Abia State.

The Abia Orientation boss, while speaking at the eve of the former kick-off by the executive governor of the state, Dr. Alex Otti OFR on Saturday 30th November, 2024 posited that there is no better place for families to do their Shopping for the festivity than at the trade fair.

She asserted that, the trade fair which is been organized by the state government and  Aba Chamber of Commerce, Mines, Industry and Agriculture ( ACCIMA) is well thought out to accommodate the needs of every stratum of society; as there are  goods to cater for  every need, ranging from basic household goods to luxury goods like cars, jewelry amongst others.

Ms. Abazie further adduced that these goods are sold at discounted prices at the fair.

She, therefore, called on all Abians and those within neighboring states to take advantage of the Fair and shop at an affordable rate for the Yuletide.

The Abia International Trade Fair is a 10-day event that commenced on the 28th of November and will run through to December 7th, 2024. 

The venue for the trade fair is the Aba Mega Mall, Osisioma, Abia State.

The People of Umuyota Autonomous Community in Umuawa-Alaocha, Ohuhu, Umuahia North LGA has reacted to a press release purportedly signed by one imposter named Chikamara Metuh. In a press release signed by Mr. Bright Udeh the Youth President of the Umuokarafor Community, the community where both Mr. Adimchinobi Abraham and High Chief Sonny Uwakwe Nlewedim hails from has advised  members of the public to disregard the so-called press release trying to present the emergence of Chief Sonny Nlewedim as the Eze-Elect of Umuyota Autonomous Community in dispute.
