Mayor Ikeji Distributes Fertilizer to Farmers Within the Council

The Mayor of Umuahia North LGA, Hon. High-Chief Victor Ikeji, Ph.D  (Kpakpando-Umuahia) has distributed fertilizers from the state government to farmers across the council.

The Mayor, while distributing the fertilizer, stated that it was released to the local government by the governor, Dr Alex Otti OFR, and is aimed at boosting agricultural production across the state.

He warned the farmers not to sell the fertilizers but rather use them to boost their production to ensure food sufficiency within the council and, by extension, the state in general.
