NONSO SPORTS SHOP TO PRESENT BRANDED JERSEY TO BAYELSA SWAN

The Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, Bayelsa chapter will soon receive a branded jersey from one of the state's frontline and leading dealer on sports kits, wears and facilities, Nonso Sports Shop.

Following an initial discussion orchestrated by immediate past caretaker chairman of the association, Elder Loveday Herbert with the Chief Executive Officer, Nonso Sports Shop, Prince Chinonso Okpara, the association led by its Chairman, Comrade Mrs Timinepre Ohia and some executive members  visited the CEO, where the deal was sealed.

The visiting team lauded Nonso Sports Shop for its numerous contributions to the development of sports in Bayelsa state and beyond, as the association was aware of his philanthropic activities to various sporting events in the state.

The association solicited for partnership and support from the business outfit  with  branded jersey for each of its members, as well as two balls for its forthcoming SWAN WEEK

Prince Chinonso Okpara, the Chief Executive Officer of Nonso Sports Shop who was elated with the partnership, promised to present a branded jersey to every registered member of the association, alongside two balls for them to execute their SWAN week.

While assuring his readiness to support SWAN in their course, he urged the body to keep up the good work of promoting sporting activities in the state.

The People of Umuyota Autonomous Community in Umuawa-Alaocha, Ohuhu, Umuahia North LGA has reacted to a press release purportedly signed by one imposter named Chikamara Metuh. In a press release signed by Mr. Bright Udeh the Youth President of the Umuokarafor Community, the community where both Mr. Adimchinobi Abraham and High Chief Sonny Uwakwe Nlewedim hails from has advised  members of the public to disregard the so-called press release trying to present the emergence of Chief Sonny Nlewedim as the Eze-Elect of Umuyota Autonomous Community in dispute. According to Mr Udeh "I am the youth president of Umuokarafor, who was unanimously elected by the entire youths of Umuokarafor, Mr. Chikamara Metuh, is not a youth president, nor an executive in Umuokarafor or Umuyota".
