Gloria Diri Foundation Extends Partnership with Bayelsa United!

_....As Foundation Provides Drinking Water for club during 2024/2025 Season......_

Gloria Diri Foundation (GDF) and Bayelsa United on Friday 23rd of August, 2024 continued their partnership as the foundation became the Official Water provider of the club.

This was made known by the Chairperson of the Foundation Dr. Juliet Teibowei who described the gesture as a necessity.
Dr. Juliet said in a bid to foster the relationship between the both parties, the Foundation decided to partner with Bayelsa United's lives journey by doing the little it could in providing water for the upcoming football season.

She described football is one of the sporting activities that young people engage in as a lifetime career. And because through the sport, people will earn a living, people will better their lives, people will also mentor others, and as a result of game, people will know Bayelsa United and the State at large.
In response, chairman of Bayelsa United Mr. Ebiki Timitimi on behalf of the club thanked Gloria Diri Foundation ( GDF) for the kind gesture towards the club.

He promised that the water provided by the foundation is what will be used throughout the upcoming season both home and away matches, pointing out he was impressed the foundation's investment in sports having donated jerseys for the club last season.
Mr. Ebiki emphasized on the importance of sponsorship from private sectors in the society, noting that the government shouldn't be left with all the work alone, calling for more collaboration with the private sector.

The chairman appreciated the sports loving duo of senator Douye Diri, his deputy Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo and the commissioner for Sports Development Dr. Daniel Igali for the unparalleled love towards the development of sports in the state.
