Bayelsa Boys beats Imo Lions to secure first win of the National Division Handball League


Bayelsa Boys got their first win in their second game of the ongoing Handball Division One Handball Championship in Benin City.

They defeated Imo Lions 24-20 after crawling their way back from the jaws of defeat for the second game running.

The win against the Imo Lions has boosted their chances of qualification towards the Ardova Handball Premier League.
Bayelsa Boys will take on third place Confluence Stars on Wednesday evening. While they will be hoping for a favour from Imo Lions against Osun United with maximum points having beaten the Boys from Yenagoa by a two goal margin on Monday.
