The Lagos State Football Coaches Association (LSFCA) in conjunction with Berackiah Football Coaching International have fixed July third for the commencement of a coaching clinic for the development of grassroots coaches in Lagos State.

Top UEFA B licensed coach from Norway, Mark Hansen have been penciled down to educate or lecture the coaches on the European standard of coaching while Lagos State University staff, Doctor Raimi Abiodun will also be lecturing the coaches about the game of coaching.

According to the facilitator and organizer of the coaching program, the CEO of Berackiah International, Mr Nwigwe Nduka said the purpose of the coaching clinic is to give the grassroots coaches more exposure to international standard of coaching as top UEFA B certified coaches from Norway will be on ground to educate the grassroots coaches.

"This is an opportunity for grassroots coaches to grab because it's an avenue to be taught by well experienced and foreign UEFA B certified coaches.

"This coaching clinic will avail the grassroots coaches the chance to develop their coaching knowledge and impact international standard of learning to the players and to also improve their tactical approach and technical abilities of the game.

"At the end of the day,the coaches will get approval certificate from our partner in Norway a UEFA license C level, so it's an avenue for our grassroots coaches to be taught in the pattern of the Europeans on how they have developed football in their region."

The chairman of Lagos State Football Coaches Association (LSFCA), Coach Hassan Tairu urges the coaches in Lagos State to take advantage of the Berackiah Football Coaching Clinic as it would add values to their work.

"I want to urge our coaches to take advantage of this noble offer and improve our education about the game.

"There would be international coaches from Norway that have been invited to lecture or educate our grassroots coaches on the development of the game and on how to keep up with the pace of the game."
