Bayelsa United defender Yinusa Sheriff says he is happy to be part of the Aiteo champions Nigeria Premier Football League campaign this season. Sheriff joined the Prosperity Boys from Mighty Mukuru Wanderers Fc of Malawi in mid season to strengthen the Yenagoa based defense line. Sheriff in an interview said he is glad for the club's history this season from Mukuru Wanderers Fc, saying that his target is to help the former league champions remain in the NPFL. Yenagoa LGA topped the medals table with 74 medals comprising 34 gold, 22 silver, 18 bronze, Kolokuma/Opokuma finished second amassing 92 medals, 30 gold, 29 silver, 33 bronze, Nembe LGA came third with 81 medals, 25 gold, 25 silver, 31 bronze.
