The Otunba Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke Memorial Cup continued at the C&S Grammar School, Ilesa on Matchday three with mouth-watering encounters.  
In the first game of the day, Idowu Omidiji scored the only goal, to give Ilesa East FC a victory over neighbours Ilesa West, thereby advancing to the next round.

Atakumosa East FC were clearly the better side in the second game of the Ilesha centre, as they dominated play from the blast of the whistle till the end, to defeat Atakumosa West FC 3-0. 

Falaye Dunsin scored a brace before Tosin Fanibi made it three, to complete a  comprehensive win over Ilesa West. 

The last game of the day was keenly contested, as Oriade FC beat Obokun FC by two goals to one. 

Adekunle David and Tosin Sammi were the goalscorers for Oriade, while David Thompson scored the only goal for Obokun United. 

So far, eight teams have advanced to the round of 16. Osun State FA Team, Olorunda Utd, Otin Babes, Ila FC, Boluwaduro FC, Ilesa East FC, Atakumosa East FC & Oriade FC.

Matches will continue in Iwo on Saturday, the 10th of December at the Anwaru-Islam Grammar School, Iwo, Community High School, Ile-Ogbo and Aiyedaade High School, Ikire.

The Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke Memorial Cup Competition was initiated by Honourable Bamidele Salam in the year 2020, to immortalize the selfless, philanthropic service of the first civilian Governor of Osun State, who was a former Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and an astute Politician when he was alive.

The third edition of the Competition has being expanded to involve selected Football Clubs from the 30 Local Governments in Osun State and the Ife East Area Office.

The People of Umuyota Autonomous Community in Umuawa-Alaocha, Ohuhu, Umuahia North LGA has reacted to a press release purportedly signed by one imposter named Chikamara Metuh. In a press release signed by Mr. Bright Udeh the Youth President of the Umuokarafor Community, the community where both Mr. Adimchinobi Abraham and High Chief Sonny Uwakwe Nlewedim hails from has advised  members of the public to disregard the so-called press release trying to present the emergence of Chief Sonny Nlewedim as the Eze-Elect of Umuyota Autonomous Community in dispute.
