WAFU Zone-B CAF Champions League: We will Give Our Best To Qualify -- Domo Okara

Acting Technical Adviser of Bayelsa Queens Football Club, Domo Okara has that the reigning NWFL Champions, Bayelsa Queens FC will give their best to clinch the sole ticket of the WAFU Zone-B and qualify for the main tournament slated for Morocco later this year.

Domo Okara who spoke to NWFL Media ahead of their opening game against Athleta Ladies FC of Togo said that the atmosphere in the teams camp is lively and that the team has a great squad to compete.

"We have a great squad and the atmosphere in Camp is lively. The players have adapted to the weather here in Yamoussoukro. 

"We will give our best and I think our best would be good enough to give us the sole ticket."

Bayelsa Queens are drawn in group B of the WAFU Zone-B CAF women's champions league alongside Athleta Ladies FC of Togo , Apem Darkoa of Ghana and U.S FA of Burkina Faso.

The reigning NWFL Champions will play their first match of the tournament on Sunday, 21st August 2022 against Athleta Ladies FC of Togo at Stade de Yamoussoukro Ivoiry Coast.

With the seven participating teams split into two groups of three and four, the top two from each group will progress to the last four of the competition.

The winners from the semi-final rounds will then head to the final to compete for the title.

The winner of the title will automatically qualify as the representative of the zone for the finals at the second-ever CAF WCL in Morocco.
