Victor Moses Out For Six Month With Injury

Russian Premier League side confirmed Nigerian winger Victor Moses will be on the sidelines for six months due to an injury he contracted during the week-end.

The 31-year had to go off during his side’s 4-1 win over Ural last Saturday after just 32 minutes of play.

The 2013 AFCON winner left the stadium on crutches and it’s now confirmed that he is ruled out for six months.

“Spartak midfielder Victor Moses, who was injured in the RPL 4th round match in Yekaterinburg, underwent a medical examination,” the club announced in a statement, as per DPN.

“The Nigerian has been diagnosed with an Achilles tendon injury. The player will have to undergo surgery. It will take about six months to recover from the injury.”

In addition, Victor Moses netted 2 goals and provided 2 assists in 4 league appearances this season with Spartak Moscow.
