Joy Bokiri Joins Saint-Etienne On A One Year Deal

Nigeria international and Bayelsa Queens player, Joy Bokiri has joined French side, AS Saint-Etienne on a one year deal in an undisclosed fee.

Bokiri had returned to Nigeria to help Bayelsa Queens claim the domestic title this year after parting ways with Swedish side, AIK.

Having completed her switch, the Nigerian midfielder will team up with fellow compatriot and American-born international Esther Okoronkwo as the club seek to battle for an instant topflight return after last season's relegation.

She has previously played for Sporting de Huelva in Spain, and Elpides Karditsas in Greece and  Konak Belediyespor in Izmir Turkey.
