AITEO CUP: COACH ADA GWEGWE BEG GOV, DOUYE DIRI, LAWRENCE EWHRUDJAPKO TO RESCUE DREAMS FOOTBALL ACADEMY
The team Coordinator of Dreams Football Academy of Yenagoa, Coach Ada Geegwe has appeal to Governor Douye Diri and his Deputy, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpor to save the team from being walk over from the this year's National Aiteo Cup following the amateur team qualification to the round of 64 of the competition.
In a statement released on Thursday Afternoon, The Grassroot Coach explained that Dreams Football Academy is desparately in need of financial baillout to enable the team travel to Enugu Tommorow Friday to honour their next Aiteo cup match against Niger Tornadoes and also pay off expenses incurred when the team defeated Police Crime Burster of Rivers State on Wednesaday.
According to the Team Coordinator, The application letter written through the State Footbal Association and and send to the office of the Deputy Governor through Commisioner For Youth and Sports, Hon. Daniel Igali is yet to be approve almost fourty eight hours to the crucial match.
The release also reads that apart from the cash needed to execute the next march against Night Tornadoes, the Hotels accommodation bill at Asaba and other debt incurred are part of outstanding debt needed to be cleared.
While Appealing to the Chief Executive to rescue the team who had done the state well by advancing to the next round of the National Aiteo Cup Competition, the Coach Commended State Commisioner for Works , Moses Teibowei and Elder Singabele for their kind donation that enabled the team travel to prosecute the Rockie stage of the tournament against Police Crime Burster Fc.
