Moses Simon, Amoo Nominated For CAF Awards

Nigeria's Moses Simon and Akinkunmi Amoo has been nominated for the 2022 Confederation of African Football (CAF) best player of the year awards.

Nantes Moses Simon is nominated for the best player of the year while Copenhagen's Akinkunmi Amoo is nominated for the best young player of the year.

Senegal top the list with five nominations, followed by Cameroun and Egypt with three and two nominations respectively.

Thirty players have been listed for the preliminary round and it will be reduced in later date to be announced by CAF. The award has not been held in the past three years.
