 PPI GETS PARTNERSHIP WITH BAYELSA STATE YOUTH AND SPORTS DEVELOPMENT MINISTRY


The Prosperity Pilot Initiative (PPI) on Tuesday, June 18th 2022, paid a courtesy call, on the Bayelsa State Youth and Sports Ministry Commissioner, Hon. Baraladei Daniel Igali in his office.


Speaking, on their aim of the visit, the spokesman of the group, Comrade Jacob John, stated, that, the good governance of Senator Douye Diri, the Governor of Bayelsa State, is being amplified by the body hence its creation. Also hammering on their aims and objective, the Director General of the Body, Comrade Robert Igali, stated that the group is formed to galvanize grassroot support, for the government of the day.


In his response, the Commissioner, Hon. Igali beaming with smiles, gladly, formally announced, the partnership of his Ministry, with the group. In attendance, was the acting Permanent Secretary of the Ministry Madam Grace Alagoa, Head of Youth in the ministry Madam Joan Emenah, Director General Centre for Youths Development, a parastatal in the Ministry, Mr. Okubukakpo Ombu and some youth officers of the Ministry.

The People of Umuyota Autonomous Community in Umuawa-Alaocha, Ohuhu, Umuahia North LGA has reacted to a press release purportedly signed by one imposter named Chikamara Metuh. In a press release signed by Mr. Bright Udeh the Youth President of the Umuokarafor Community, the community where both Mr. Adimchinobi Abraham and High Chief Sonny Uwakwe Nlewedim hails from has advised  members of the public to disregard the so-called press release trying to present the emergence of Chief Sonny Nlewedim as the Eze-Elect of Umuyota Autonomous Community in dispute. According to Mr Udeh "I am the youth president of Umuokarafor, who was unanimously elected by the entire youths of Umuokarafor, Mr. Chikamara Metuh, is not a youth president, nor an executive in Umuokarafor or Umuyota".
