NPFL Preview: Bayelsa United FC vs Enugu Rangers FC Date: 19/2/2023 Venue: Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa Kick-off: 4:00pm The first stanza of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) abridged season comes to an end this weekend as bottom placed Bayelsa United tackles seventh placed Enugu Rangers at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa in group B. Home side bayelsa United will be hoping to end the first round of the league on a winning note after a poor run of zero wins in their last four matches which has seen them placed bottom of the group albeit with a game in hand. The prosperity Boys got a valuable point away at Niger Tornadoes in match week eight courtesy of striker Mizo Robert who got the equaliser for the prosperity Boys after going a goal behind in the encounter. Friendly: Hard Fighting Next-Gen F.A Suffers late Defeat To FC One Rockets

Francis Joseph Next Generation Football Academy of Yenagoa suffered a 2-1 friendly defeat to Nigerian National League (NNL) campaigners FC One Rockets at the Eket Township Stadium, Akwa-ibom State. The Match started on a positive note for Next-Gen F.A as they took the game to their host in the early exchanges of the game and went in front through Golden Eaglets Returnee Benjamin Precious in the 10 minutes to give his side a 1-0 lead. The Yenagoa base academy continued to push forward in search of the second goal as the first half grew on but FC One Rockets where able to get themselves together as they went out in search of the equaliser.  With few missed chances for both teams, the Akwa-ibom based side got their equaliser in the 38 minutes courtesy of a well taken freekick from striker Ambrose.
