PSG Sacks Pochetino After Eighten Months In Charge, Galtier Confirmed As New Manager

Paris Saint German have confirmed the sack of Maurizio Pochetino after Eighten Months In charge of the Capital club.

Pochetino replaced Thomas Tuchel after he was sacked in December 2020 but he couldn't guide PSG to the title after taking over as Lille won the title at the end of the season.

Pochetino eventually won the title this concluded season but there has been talk of him going after failing to guide the club to the champions league finals.

Meanwhile PSG has confirmed the appointment of Christophe Galtier as the new PSG manager, until June 2024. 
Galtier after his appointment said
“Campos' presence was decisive. I accepted Paris Saint-Germain job with lot of humility but with great determination”.
