The prosperity under 17 trials may have come and gone but the story of the four days event will be incomplete without telling the performance of Dominion Sports Club 11 years old player  Odin Chidubem Valentine.

Chidubem was one of the youngest player that participated in the event, his introduction by his coach was like a tonic that lifted his team spirit to give their very best.

Chidubem is gifted with a powerful left, a reminiscent of Argentina and Barcelona forward Lionel Messi, fearless, purposeful and difficult to mark when he is with the ball but his disadvantage is his physique, however age is still on his side.

His confidence with the ball is what every good coach/manager may love to have in his team, coupled with his impeccable passes.

Chidubem came in seven minutes to the end of hostilities in day two of the exercise, mesmerizing defenders with his left foot and put smiles on the faces of FDC/ VISTA GELENDZHIK officials.

The head of scouting FDC/ VISTA GELENDZHIK Mr Nikita Poliakov did not hide his admirations for the Manchester City hopeful who also caught the attention of every fan and spectator at the Samson Siasia Stadium.

The young lad who hails from Iseke in Ihiala Local government Area of Anambra state produced another brilliant display in day three, a wonderful spot kick which gave his team Dominion Sports Club a 5-3 victory over their opponent.

But the 11 years old Chidubem in an interview said he was happy to participate in the prosperity under 17 trials, despite his age, noting that he is not afraid of playing against any player in the world.

He noted that his coach told him not to be afraid of any player irrespective of their size and height, that was why coaches usually feature him amongst players that are older than him in training.

Chidubem explained that he has started working on himself on how to be like his role model Lionel Messi, describing the Argentine legend as the best player in the world.

Asked where he got the confidence from in converting the penalty, he said he built his confidence on himself that he is not afraid of any goalkeeper even if it is a professional keeper.

He added that he intends to play for Manchester City in future due to their brand of football.
