Everything has been sorted

You do not need to gamble and risk a No Show at the world cup.

Mali was used to replaced Nigeria's female basketball team, D'Tigress after they had secured qualification for the World Cup slated for September this year when the Federal Government of Nigeria self banned Basketball in Nigeria for two years due to the leadership tussle at the NBBF.

Few weeks later, the ban was lifted after the issue was settled with the federal government of Nigeria recognizing the Musa Kida led board.

Meanwhile, Mali's men basketball team has been disqualified from the FIBA Basketball World Cup Qualifiers ongoing at the Kigali Arena Rwanda.

Due to their failure to appear to its games against Uganda on July 1 and against Nigeria on July 2 in the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 African Qualifiers, the Mali National Team has lost each of these games by forfeit.

According to the official basketball rules, if in a tournament the team forfeits for the second time, the team shall be disqualified from the tournament and the results of all games played by this team shall be nullified.
