Morocco To Host 2022 African Womens CAF Champions League

The Confederation of African Football CAF had announced that Morocco will be the host for the 2022 African Womens CAF Champions League. Morocco is currently hosting the 2022 AWCON.

CAF made the announcement in a media briefing on Sunday by the executive committee.

Egypt hosted the inaugural edition in 2021 and was won by Sundown Ladies of South Africa after defeating Hassacas Ladies of Ghana.

Eight team's will participate in this year's edition after the regional qualifiers from each zone.

The tournament will kick-of in October later this year.

Mayor Igbokwe (Don Lulu) Honoured with Awa Man of the Year Award

H.E. Mayor Lucky Igbokwe (Don Lulu), the chairman of Don Media Group, which owns Ikoro 93.3 FM and Don 103.7 FM, has been conferred with the Awa Man of the Year Award by the youth of his community, Umuawa-Alaocha.
