Breaking: CAF Postpone 2023 Afcon

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) have shifted  the 2023 Afcon to 2024 with Ivory Coast still retaining there hosting right.

The 2023 Afcon was to be hosted in Ivory Coast in the summer of June to July but there has been calls for postponement of the tournament due to the incessant rain  fall at that period in Ivory Coast, report has it that most of the city's are currently battling with flood in the country.

CAF also announced that the postponed tournament will now take place from January to February 2024 instead of the original schedule of June, July.
Meanwhile, CAF had also announced that the African Super League will officially start in August, 2023 and that the winner of competition will earn USD $10 million. 

There has been talks of African Club playing a super league for several months now with lot of the big clubs in the continent supporting the idea.
