Breaking: CAF Announce Improved Price Money For Awcon

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced an improved price money for the Awcon which kick starts today.

CAF made the announcement this afternoon ahead of the first game between Host country Morocco and Burkina Faso later tonight. 

According to the announcement made by CAF, the  winners will now receive $500,000 while the runners-up get $175,000 and semifinalists earn $225,000.

Last winner of the tournament, the Super Falcons of Nigeria only got $200,000 as there winning price. With $500,000 as the winning price, it's a whooping 150% increase from CAF.
