The Local Organising Committee for the 2025 edition of the Bayelsa State  chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) Week, has outlined its programme of activities. A statement by Chairman of the committee, Loveday Herbert says the program will begin on Monday, 1st December with a road walk from Ekeki junction and will terminate at the Samson Siasia Sports Complex, and will be wrapped up with a thorough but exciting work out and aerobic session. It says on Tuesday, December 2, will be the commencement of the Clinton Thompson Football  competition among registered media houses.
