Super Falcons Forward, Asisat Oshoala, and a board member of the Nigeria Football Federation, Aisha Falode, have urged stakeholders in the private and public sectors to invest more in Nigeria’s women football in order to accelerate its development. Team Bayelsa led by Director of Sports Bayelsa State Sports Council Sir Braveman Wodi arrived with about 250 contingents in eleven sports which include para swimming, Para canoeing, Para powerlifting, Para Karate,Para taekwondo. The Chairperson of the Women Football Committee and a Board Member of the Nigeria Football Federation, Ms Aisha Falode, has congratulated the six-time CAF Women Footballer of the Year, Nigeria's Asisat Oshoala who on Monday, in Marakesh, Morocco, was voted as the best female player in Africa, for an unprecedented six times.
